Once an opportunity has been created, you may attach a quote to the opportunity by clicking on the “New Quote” button and filling in information on the “New Quote” dialog.  Then add specific Quote items by clicking on the “Add Item” button and providing the related information.

Once a sales opportunity has been established you may create a quote for it.

1. Create a sales opportunity for the prospect if one does not already exist. See How to Add an Opportunity

2. Select the Opportunity from the list of Sales Oppor-tunities.
3. In the “Select a Related View” dropdown menu, se-lect “Quotes.”

4. Click on the “New Quote” button and provide the in-formation called for on the resulting dialog.
5. Click on the “Update” button to update the screen. Edit or complete fields on the screen as required.
6. To add an item to this quote, click on the “Add Item” button to view a list of products. Place a checkmark beside one or more products to be added to your quote.
7. Click on the “Select” button.
8. Once you have returned to the “Quote Detail” screen, you may edit the “Description,” “Quantity” or “Price” for any item. (Click on the “Update” button to retain your changes and recalculate the “Price Ex-tended.”)

9. You may Email the quote to a customer, or print it.
10. Click on the “Save and Close”
Note: Quotes can be created without being linked to a specific opportunity by selecting quotes and the new button.
